Kusum gets nervous seeing Saroj in her room. Saroj asks if it was Rishi’s phone, she is blushing speaking to him. She offers her Gayatri’s sent gifts and asks her to wear them today. She performs Kusum’s nazar and asks her to keep smiling always. Kusum recalls Rishi verbally abusing her. Sayuri walks down ready and notices Rashmi. She praises Rashmi’s mehandi and says dark mehandi signifies MIL’s love. Rashmi says she doesn’t know if its true. Sayuri asks her not to think wrong and spoil her mood. Kusum notices them and says her both bhabhis/SILs got ready so beautifully for her brothers, but her brothers are still not yet home to admire their beauty. Daadi Mausi overhears her and says even she must be waiting for Rishi’s attention and asks her to have patience till the moon is out. Kusum says she is feeling hungry and walks away. Sayuri walks behind her and asks her to trust her and Kanha as they will not let her life ruined by Rishi. Saroj gathers all the ladies and starts reading Satyanarayan story.
